Since 2007, the Greene County Food Pantry has been combating food insecurity by distributing nutritious food monthly to over 1,000 individuals. Open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 AM to 1 PM at 10 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Greensboro.

Hot lunch served every weekday at noon for seniors at 1031 Silver Drive, Greensboro. Donations welcome but no senior is turned away. Homebound seniors can apply for Meals on Wheels delivery through the Northeast Georgia Area Agency on Aging at 1-800-474-7540. Reserve a lunch one day ahead at 706-453-7463.

Food pantry and family assistance for the Lake Oconee area at 151 Industrial Boulevard, Eatonton. Open Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Their Food for Friends distribution is held the third Monday of each month, and food is available any day for urgent need. Call 706-485-4066.

A partnership between Neighbors Helping Neighbors and the Mission Team at First Methodist Church Greensboro Lake Oconee. Beds for Kidz provides bunk and twin beds to children ages 3 to 18 who have no bed, whose bed is broken, or who are sharing a bed with siblings or parents. Every delivery includes the bed, mattress, sheets, pillows, and a comforter.
