Our Partners

Five local churches rotate volunteer teams each week to keep our kitchen running, and Second Harvest helps us source the food we serve. Each partner brings their own spirit of generosity and service.

First Methodist Church Greensboro Lake Oconee

Our home base. A welcoming and growing Methodist congregation with two campuses in Greene County, FMCGLO hosts Our Father's Kitchen every Saturday at their Greensboro Campus Family Life Center on 202 West Broad Street. Beyond providing the space that makes our meals possible, the church runs youth programs, a weekday preschool, and the Hand Up Wesleyan Way Scholarship for local graduating seniors.

Historic Springfield Baptist Church

Established in 1864, Historic Springfield Baptist Church is Greensboro's first African American church. Led by Rev. Willie R. Peete, the congregation's mission is to win souls and build up the Body of Christ through worship, service, relationships, and discipleship. HSBC has been with Our Father's Kitchen from the beginning, contributing volunteers, supplies, and unwavering support.

Lakeside Church at Lake Oconee

Located at 5800 Lake Oconee Parkway, Lakeside Church is committed to helping people take their next step with Jesus through biblical teaching, authentic community, and service to the Lake Oconee area. Their dedicated volunteers rotate in regularly to help with meal preparation and serving at Our Father's Kitchen.

First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro

A beacon of faith and love since 1790, First Presbyterian is a historic, mission-minded church led by Rev. Meg Jackson Clark. Their mission is to grow together in faith, connecting to one another and the community while serving people in need. FPOG contributes committed volunteers who bring that spirit of service to Our Father's Kitchen every week.

Episcopal Church of the Redeemer

Known as the little red church with the very big heart, the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer at 303 North Main Street is dedicated to loving God and living out that love through care, compassion, and fellowship. Their outreach includes the Upscale Resale shop and faithful volunteer support for Our Father's Kitchen.

A community-based food security organization serving Greene County and the broader region. Second Harvest has been a partner since Our Father's Kitchen began, helping to source food and address hunger across the area.
